Each button is carefully hand crafted from our unique mixture of ceramic & stoneware clay, then hand painted with an assortment of glazes. The process involves numerous firings at extremely high temperatures. The result is a product of exceptional strength and durability. Buttons are both machine washable, with proper care, & dry cleanable. BUTTON FEATURES: The buttons are fully washable. However, we recommend that garments on which buttons are applied, are turned inside out prior to washing, and that normal care is taken in the handling of the item. We do not recommend tumble drying our buttons. BUTTON SIZES: Buttons are mounted on CARDS which measure 2" x 6.5" (5cm x 16.5 cm). This enables you to envisage actual button size which varies according to design, as per images. The color, shape and size may differ from the picture as all buttons are handmade and hand painted.
